Terms of Service

1. Who we are

"Larpspire," "we," and "us" means AJ D'Ambrosio, doing business as Larpspire. "You" means the business, and the person acting for it, who signs up for our service. By checking the box to accept these terms at checkout, or by paying for the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.

2. What you get

While your subscription is active, we provide:

• A website designed for your business, built for phones and computers.
• Registration and renewal of one domain name (for example, yourbusiness.com), registered with your business as the owner.
• Hosting, security certificates (HTTPS), and keeping the site online.
• Small edits whenever you ask, as described in section 5.

3. Previews

We may build a preview of your site before you sign up, using public information about your business such as your Google listing and reviews. Previews are free, carry no obligation, are labeled as unofficial, and are hidden from search engines. If you don't sign up, we take your preview down on request, and in any case within about 60 days.

4. Your content and approval

• Before your site goes live, you review it and confirm the information is accurate, including your services, contact details, and any reviews we feature.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of what you approve or send us, and you confirm you have the right to use any photos, logos, or text you provide.
• We won't add claims about your business (licenses, insurance, warranties, years in business, prices) unless you give them to us.
• You can ask us to remove or change anything on your site at any time.

5. Edits

Small edits are included at no extra charge. These are things like changing hours, services, prices, wording, phone numbers, photos, or featured reviews. Send requests by text or email; we usually handle them within 2 business days. Larger work, such as new pages, online booking, a store, or a full redesign, isn't included. We'll quote it separately before doing anything, and you don't pay for it unless you approve the quote.

6. Payment

• Monthly plan: $120 per month. Yearly plan: $1,200 per year. Prices are in US dollars.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Your plan renews automatically at the start of each month or year until you cancel.
• If a payment fails, we'll let you know. If it isn't resolved within 14 days, we may pause your site until it is.
• We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change. A change applies from your next renewal after that notice.

7. Canceling

• You can cancel anytime by contacting us. There are no cancellation fees.
• Your site stays online until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time.
• After that, your site is taken offline. Your domain remains yours; we'll help you transfer it to your own registrar account, and from then on you pay its yearly renewal directly.

8. Who owns what

• Your domain and your content (business name, logo, photos and information you provide) belong to you.
• The site's design and code belong to Larpspire, and we license them to you for as long as your subscription is active, unless you buy them out.
• Stock photos we include are used under their licenses (such as the Unsplash license) and may be replaced if you buy out the site.

9. Buyout

You can buy your site outright for a one-time payment of $2,500. After a buyout, we hand over the site files and you own them. From then on, you pay your own domain renewal and hosting. If you'd like us to keep hosting the site, that's $25 per month, cancellable anytime; edits are no longer included and are quoted separately.

10. What we can't promise

We work to keep your site online and working well, but we can't guarantee it will never be unavailable (for example, during an outage at our hosting provider). We also can't guarantee any particular number of visitors, calls, customers, or search rankings.

11. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Larpspire isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total responsibility for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

12. Ending the service on our side

We may end the service if you don't pay, or if your site would be used for anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful. Except in serious cases, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. If we stop offering the service altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and help you move your site and domain.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. The version that applies is the one shown on this page, with its "last updated" date.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
